RIMS TECHNICAL INFORMATION
RIMS runs on your existing computer network. It requires no proprietary hardware, just one or two computer servers and your PCs. The following are the requirements for these computers, the minimums if using existing hardware and the recommended if purchasing new hardware.
These recommendations are based on the fact the servers will only be running RIMS products. Agencies using servers used to support non-RIMS applications must consider the impact of these other applications.

Use these specifications running the following products: RIMS, RIMS Reports, RIMSMap, PropRoom, InCustody, and TIMS.
Monitors must have a minimum screen resolution of 1920×1080.

Use these specifications for the primary server that will run the following products: Microsoft SQL Server, RICO Web Services Hub, IIS, and RIMS Data Exchange (import/export) applications.
Virtual Servers are supported – VMWare, Hyper-V are some examples.
